Scoops on Main is a small-town ice cream shop built on family, fun, and a serious love of ice cream.

 

In the fall of 2022, Britt Buchtman became the new owner of Scoops on Main during one of the busiest weeks of her life—the same week her son was born! After a winter of planning, the shop opened its first season under new ownership in May 2023, and it’s been all smiles and sprinkles ever since.

 

Britt has been an ice cream lover for as long as she can remember, so owning an ice cream shop feels like the perfect scoop of fate. During college, she even worked a second job once at a ice cream and hot dog parlor. So you could say she’s been “training” for this role for years!

 

Today, Scoops on Main is all about serving up classic favorites, creative treats, and a place where families can stop by, have fun, and enjoy the sweeter side of life.
